Features
Corrects boost limits by 5-7 PSI, improved performance at high boost levels, great turbo sound, lowers smoke and EGT’s, eliminates compressor surge, improved longevity in high boost applications, pre-balanced and ready to install
Step Gap Oil Seal
Tighter tolerances for superior sealing minimizing oil leakage from the bearing housing VS standard OEM turbine shaft oil seals.
NOTE
This turbo is a significant upgrade compared to stock. Upgrades/tuning to the fuel delivery system highly recommended.
Important Note
This compressor wheel and turbine shaft is balanced and ready to be used right out of the packaging. As with any turbo rebuild, the center housing rotating assembly (CHRA) will need to be balanced, engine oil and air filter must be changed, and air intake tubes leading to the turbo must be cleaned for a successful rebuild. Otherwise, the turbo will fail shortly after rebuild due to pre-existing contaminants interfering with the turbo’s ‘break-in’ process. Warranties never cover improper practices.
Please Note
Verify engine build date and ESN engine serial number. You will find a sticker on the FICM. Pushing aside the degas bottle should allow you to read it.
