The Hamilton Cams 07-C-002 Bolt-On Cam Retainer is specially made for your 1989-2018 Dodge 5.9/6.7L Cummins. This bolt-on retainer will ensure that the cam gear is not pushed off of the cam in high rpm, high fuel delivery situations.

Application Note:
Common rail engines or engines that use straight cut or spur gears do not need this bolt-on retainer. If using silicone sealant instead of a gasket on the front cover, be sure to check the clearance between the retainer and front cover.
