The DFC Diesel Remanufactured Tow/Haul Series Long Block Crate Engine is a high-quality replacement for the tired engine on your 2011-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke. Able to support up to 550 horsepower, each DFC engine is remanufactured using superior quality parts to meet strict engine building guidelines. Each DFC engine is machined using advanced Rottler equipment and includes significant upgrades that help your engine maintain its reliability and performance. Each DFC engine is built to tolerances that are more precise than the factory specs for a more efficient and longer-lasting engine!
DFC engines are usually matched with near-identical weight piston and connecting rod assemblies. This gives you a smoother running engine that creates less noise and feels more balanced. This remanufactured Long Block includes new pistons, rings, bearings, and seals.
During the remanufacturing process, DFC upgrades the Tow/Haul Series engines to give you a better performing and longer-lasting engine. Each long block gets ARP 2000 Series Head Studs, ceramic coated piston crowns with dry film coated skirts, DFC HD pushrods, and pinned main bearings.
DFC replaces each valve guide with a new cast guide in every cylinder head. Instead of just re-grinding warn-out valves, DFC installs all new valves from high-quality sources like MAHLE or SBI. To address common cracking areas in the cylinder head, DFC machines each head to remove the factory hardened seat material then installs new SBI valve seats to help eliminate premature cracking.

New Engine Checklist (Replacement Items – Sold Separately):
- Injectors – highly recommended especially on higher model engines or engines with contaminated fuel.
- Turbocharger – recommended if mileage over 125K, mandatory if shaft play, or if engine was dusted.
- Water Pump – highly recommended if engine has over 125K.
- Evans Waterless Coolant – recommended upgrade to prevent corrosion and boilover.
The specific brand of each component may change due to part availability at the time of each build. Parts are chosen at the discretion of DFC and cannot be specially requested. DFC uses only the best components sourced from multiple brands during the remanufacturing process and backs their engines with an industry-leading 5-year 100,000 mile warranty.
$500 Crate charge is included in the core charge total. Engine shipping crate must be returned with core engine to receive full core credit. The price listed includes pre-paid shipping for the core return of $350 and a $200 oversize shipping fee.
