Replace the tired engine in your 1994-2018 Dodge 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins (Manual or Automatic) and improve its performance when you add the DFC Diesel Remanufactured Tow/Haul Series Long Block Crate Engine. Able to support up to 700 horsepower, the Tow/Haul Series is remanufactured from quality components to meet the most strict guidelines. Machined using advanced Rottler machining equipment, you can be sure your engine is built to tolerances that are tighter and more precise than the factory specs for an efficient and long-lasting engine!
Engine Remanufacturing
DFC engines are usually matched with near-identical weight piston and connecting rod assemblies. As a result, you get a smoother running engine that creates less noise and feels more balanced. This remanufactured Long Block includes new pistons, rings, bearings, and seals.
Engine Upgrades
Each Cummins Tow/Haul Series engine comes standard with an O-ringed cylinder head. The Street Series engine features improved gasket sealing methods in common leakage areas as well as ARP series 2000 head studs. Additional upgrades to the Tow/Haul Series Long Block include a Colt Cams stage 4 camshaft, Hamilton Cams 103lb valve springs, DFC pushrods, and a bolt-in rear aluminum freeze plug. For increased durability, the Tow/Haul Series Long Block features ceramic coated piston crowns and dry film coated skirts.
Cylinder Head
DFC replaces each valve guide with a new cast guide in every cylinder head. Instead of just giving used valves a re-grind, DFC installs all new valves from high-quality sources like MAHLE or SBI. To address common cracking areas in the cylinder head, DFC also machines each head to remove the factory hardened seat material. DFC then installs new SBI valve seats to help eliminate premature cracking, giving you a more durable cylinder head.

The DFC Long Block has all rockers and pushrods preset to factory specifications and includes a remanufactured cylinder head, internal components, front & rear cover, oil pan, and the complete gasket kit for long block installation.

New Engine Checklist (Replacement Items – Sold Separately):
- Oil Cooler – highly recommended and mandatory if your past engine had a bearing failure.
- Injectors – highly recommended especially on higher model engines or engines with contaminated fuel.
- Turbocharger – recommended if mileage over 125K, mandatory if shaft play, or if the engine was dusted.
- Water Pump – highly recommended if the engine has over 125K.
- Evans Waterless Coolant – recommended upgrade to prevent corrosion and boilover.

The specific brand of each component may change due to part availability at the time of each build. Parts are chosen at the discretion of DFC and cannot be specially requested. DFC uses only the best components sourced from multiple brands during the remanufacturing process and backs their engines with an industry-leading 5-year 100,000-mile warranty.

$500 Crate charge is included in the core charge total. Engine shipping crate must be returned with core engine to receive full core credit. The price listed includes pre-paid shipping for the core return of $350 and a $200 oversize shipping fee.
