One possible issue is the 7.3 Powerstroke oil pan gasket. As the gasket ages, it can leak and allow oil to seep out the edges of the oil pan. Replacing the oil pan and its gasket can be a chore, though, as it requires taking the entire engine out of the truck. However, ignoring the issue can result in catastrophic failure as an insufficient amount of oil can damage the engine’s internals.
Find the right 7.3 Powerstroke engine rebuild kit, gaskets, and fasteners to keep your truck on the road at ProSource Diesel.
